About HealthCura

HealthCura.ai provides an operating system and services for specialty clinics. Our platform and team handle benefits verification, prior authorization, referral management, and AI scribe, streamlining front office operations so practices spend less time on payer calls and paperwork, collect what they earn, and patients know their costs before the visit.

We are an early-stage company, and this is our first sales hire. You will report to our Chief Revenue Officer, a co-founder, and build the sales function from the ground up.

The opportunity

You will own revenue from first contact to signed contract. That means building your own pipeline of independent specialty practices, running the sales process, and closing. There is no inherited book and no playbook yet; you will write it. As we grow, this role is the path to leading the sales team.

What you will do

  • Build and manage a pipeline of independent specialty practices and multi-location specialty groups through calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and in-person visits.
  • Run the full sales cycle: discovery, needs analysis, proposal, pricing, negotiation, and close.
  • Show each practice how our platform and services fit its front office, including benefits verification, prior authorization, referral management, and AI scribe, and quantify the gain in dollars and hours: denied claims, coverage questions that slow down scheduling, and staff time lost to payer calls.
  • Convert prospects into 30-day pilots, and pilots into annual service agreements, working with customer success.
  • Hand each new practice to our Customer Success Officer with a clear handoff of goals, contacts, and contract terms, and stay involved through go-live.
  • Turn referrals from current practices into new practices.
  • Develop referral partners, including medical billing companies, practice consultants, and EMR vendors.
  • Represent HealthCura at specialty society meetings, state medical association events, and practice management conferences.
  • Forecast accurately, keep the CRM current, and report pipeline and results to our Chief Revenue Officer each week.
  • Shape pricing, messaging, and the sales process based on what you hear from the market.

What you bring

  • 5 or more years of business-to-business sales experience, with at least 3 years selling services or software to medical practices.
  • A record of closing new business you sourced yourself, with quota attainment you can show.
  • Experience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, prior authorization, or practice management sales.
  • Skill at selling to physician owners and practice managers, including building a return-on-investment case.
  • Working knowledge of eligibility, benefits verification, prior authorization, and denials.
  • Comfort in an early-stage company: you prospect, present, close, and update the CRM yourself.

Nice to have

  • Existing relationships with specialty medical practices.
  • Experience as the first sales hire at a startup, or building a sales process from scratch.
  • Experience hiring or mentoring sales representatives.

What success looks like

  • First 30 days: learn the service, define the target list, and start outreach.
  • First 90 days: a qualified pipeline of 30 or more practices, the first signed pilots, and pilots converting to annual agreements.
  • First year: a steady pace of new practices each month and a documented, repeatable sales process.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Uncapped commission on the revenue you close.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Medical and dental insurance.
